Philadelphia Karate Instructor

Natalie Konieczny currently holds a 1st Dan Black Belt in TaeKwonDo and a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Natalie started in the martial arts, specifically TaeKwonDo, in 1999 at just seven years of age.  Though she was initially enrolled to learn basic self-defense, she immediately fell in love with the sport and committed herself 100% to be the best student she could be.

She continued her training throughout her teenage and young-adult years until she received her black belt in 2012 under Grand Master Smith, certified through the World TaeKwonDo Federation (WTF). Natalie has competed in multiple local and statewide tournaments in board breaking, katas, and sparring. She also has experience in teaching TaeKwonDo to children and adults of all ages as well as those with special needs. In 2011, Natalie started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a way to expand her knowledge of the martial arts and add new techniques to her arsenal. She is an active competitor and competes in tournaments all across the U.S.

Natalie is currently one of the head instructors of our kid’s martial art classes here at Maxercise. In addition to both teaching the kids and her personal training 6 days a week, Natalie also works part-time at Virtua Hospital as a Registered Dietitian.
